Canada’s First Centre of Excellence for Circular Procurement

Governments and private sector organizations recognize the opportunity to influence markets to advance Canada’s circular economy by leveraging their immense buying power. To support collective understanding and increased collaboration across the value chain Circular Innovation Council is pleased to present CircularProcurement.ca to accelerate Canada’s path to greater circularity.

This Centre of Excellence showcases a global depth of information for professionals across a variety of functions and industries to access: guidance and best practice, business models, policies and frameworks, tools, and case studies from around the world and for various spend categories.

“Circular procurement is a direct instrument that will accelerate Canada’s transition from a linear to a circular economy, which focuses on the full value of goods, services, public works, and infrastructure investments. It provides support and a place of collaboration for governments and private sector organizations alike who recognize an opportunity to use their buying power to achieve their broader economic, environmental, and social objectives simultaneously,”
