About Circular Innovation Council

Circular Innovation Council is a national, not-for-profit, membership-based organization with over 40 years of experience delivering programming that educates and empowers Canadians to take action on the circular economy and its environmental, economic, and social benefits. In concert with our members and partners, we leverage our experience and expertise to deliver on the broad gains inspired by the circular economy through research, policy, programs, and pilots. Our mandate is to accelerate Canada’s transition toward a circular economy by putting concepts into action.

Position Summary

As a key member of our remote team, the Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to carry out research to support the organization’s projects, pilots, and programs, as well as develop work plans, timelines, and deliverables.

This position will provide the right individual with an opportunity to work on meaningful projects and research that are advancing the circular economy in Canada.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with a team of skilled professionals
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Active listening skills
  • Must be able to work independently and is a self-starter
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingualism in French is an asset

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Education
  • Experience in research
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Project Management experience is an asset

  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding project status
  • Effectively manage changes to project scope, schedule, and resources
  • Ability to work on several projects and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Establish and cultivate meaningful relationships based on trust, reliability, and accountability
