Region (PAC-OR), a Public Services and Procurement Canada division, to bring awareness to the power of public procurement and shed light on the federal procurement system for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Small to medium-sized enterprises are at the core of a thriving and resilient circular economy yet often find it challenging to compete in the marketplace and navigate the federal procurement system.

As such, we are delighted to extend an opportunity to our members and interested stakeholders to engage directly with PAC-OR during our lunch and learn on November 10, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Did you know that Procurement Assistance Canada provides free services to support small businesses participate in federal procurement? They help SMEs better understand how the government buys goods and services and how to navigate the process to find opportunities.

If you are an SME and would like to gain insight into the federal procurement system and are ready for a more detailed overview of the bidding process, this webinar is for you. This session is an exclusive opportunity to ask PAC-OR anything and time will be dedicated to participants. In addition, PAC-OR will share essential information to help you bid on opportunities, including:

• The different types of solicitation documents

• The main elements of a solicitation document and how to respond to them

• How bids are evaluated, and suppliers are selected

• How to follow up after receipt of the bidding process results

• Best practices, tips and suggestions
