To support collective understanding and increased collaboration across the value chain Circular Innovation Council is pleased to present CircularProcurement.ca to accelerate Canada’s path to greater circularity.
This Centre of Excellence showcases a global depth of information for professionals across a variety of functions and industries to access: guidance and best practice, business models, policies and frameworks, tools, and case studies from around the world and for various spend categories.
Circular procurement is a direct instrument that will accelerate Canada’s transition from a linear to a circular economy, which focuses on the full value of goods, services, public works, and infrastructure investments.
It provides support and a place of collaboration for governments and private sector organizations alike who recognize an opportunity to use their buying power to achieve their broader economic, environmental, and social objectives simultaneously.

This is also an opportunity to engage markets to reconsider modes of consumption and production to deliver on common goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce waste, and support local and diverse economies while building our resilience and competitiveness.
Procure4Circular, is a national network of public sector buying groups dedicated to accelerating the circular economic transition. By leveraging the collective ability of governments, this network aims to leverage procurement as a catalyst for market transformation, innovation, and sustainable supply chains.

Circular Procurement needs cross-functional organization as well as vendor collaboration to be successful. Our workshops support your organization to advance cross-functional understanding of circular business models and their value, and provide the knowledge and steps to integrate circular criteria into sourcing opportunities.
We also offer Category Specific Workshops to prepare for vendor engagement/RFIs, as well as Market Engagement Workshops that can include Circular 101 for vendors.

As supply of circular products and service delivery continue to expand so will the breadth and scope of CircularProcurement.ca. We have created a collaborative platform to grow alongside demand for circularity that will benefit buyers and vendors.
