Biography

About the company:

Circular Partners is an environmental services and solutions provider dedicated to decreasing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and supporting our community through sustainable practices. Our mission is to enhance circularity by effectively reducing embodied carbon and addressing Scope 3 emissions, thus fostering a healthier and more sustainable environment.

Circular Partners is built upon an array of services across the following pillars:
-Viking Recycling, Canada’s leading clean Material Recovery Facility (MRF), has successfully diverted over 15 million pounds of materials from landfills. This achievement aligns with our Highest & Best UseTM principle, ensuring materials are processed in a manner that maximizes their value and utility, while adhering to a Zero Landfill policy.

-REUSE Marketplace is a dynamic platform that promotes upcycling and repurposing of materials. By extending the lifecycle of products, it plays a crucial role in reducing waste, decreasing our demand on natural resources and fostering a circular economy for our community.

-SampleLibrary offers a Canadian circular solution for manufacturers and designers to transform the longstanding linear approach of sample and design industry material waste. Supporting manufacturers in their quest to decarbonize their impacts, SampleLibrary provides a more sustainable solution while saving manufacturers time and money

Priorities in the Circular Economy:

Reusing, recycling, keeping materials out of landfills through highest and best uses. We have a Zero Landfill Policy, meaning we won’t accept anything we don’t have a solution for. We are also lobbying with the city of Toronto to advance further their sustainability goals by including Construction, Renovation and Demolition materials on their radar when it comes to policy changes and transformation.
