About the Company

Since its inception in 1996, Recyclable Materials Marketing (ReMM) has marketed millions of tonnes of recyclable material, provided expert consulting services for its clients, and helped create markets for materials that have previously been disposed in landfills.

Priorities in the Circular Economy

ReMM operates a full-service North American recyclable material brokerage firm offering the following services:

– Marketing of all recovered recyclable materials from both residential and post-industrial sources. This includes end-market sourcing and logistics (North American and Export)
– Sourcing of materials required for manufacturers using recycled content in both Canada and the U.S.
– Sourcing and development of end-markets for alternative/difficult to manage materials

The ReMM Consulting Group offers customized solutions for the complex challenges that businesses face when trying to navigate the evolving landscape of the new Circular Economy. We work with private sector, municipal and NGO clients to help them extract maximum value from their resources, while determining effective ways to minimize residual waste and their overall carbon footprint.

Consulting services involves working with large manufacturers on Sustainable Materials Management. This is achieved via waste reduction, increased recycling and energy use of current waste and improved reporting metrics. In addition, ReMM assists in the development and implementation of MRF and mill studies on packaging flow and recyclability for specific packaging types.

The combination of ReMM’s long-term material brokerage and consulting work has helped us develop solid relationships with suppliers, and broaden our sources for finding solutions. This synergy allows ReMM to meet the needs of its clients by identifying problems and developing solutions, while considering the circular economy and sustainable materials management.
