The end of 2025 marked an important five-year milestone for the Circular Innovation Council under its expanded, national mandate. Now one month into 2026, as we continue the momentum created alongside our members and partners, we look to leverage past achievements to make 2026 a pivotal year for Canada’s transition towards a circular economy.

City of Toronto Circular Food Innovators Fund: Applications Now Open!

The City of Toronto is excited to announce another round of funding for the Circular Food Innovators Fund (CFIF) to support local small businesses in replacing single-use foodservice ware with reusable systems.

New this year: Additional green workforce development funding to grow Toronto’s circular food economy.
