Survey for Toronto Residents in Support of the City's Circular Economy Road Map

The City of Toronto is developing a 10-year Circular Economy Road Map to tackle some of today’s most urgent challenges — the growing landfill capacity issues, affordability and rising living costs, climate change, and the clear need for more resilient, local systems. Toronto residents are invited to complete this survey by August 17, 2025 to share their ideas and priorities to help shape a more affordable, equitable, and sustainable Toronto for all.

Investigating Barriers, Drivers, and Opportunities that Influence IC&I Organic Waste Diversion in Canada

We’re back with the results! In partnership with Environment and Climate Change Canada, CIC has new research examining the current landscape and ‘What We Heard’ from municipal and ICI sector perspectives on the barriers, drivers, and opportunities shaping food and organic waste diversion across Canada. 

Hear from CIC’s research team on learnings from the study at our webinar, and stay for a short panel discussion with municipal experts reflecting on the findings and sharing their experiences from the field.
