As the cost of living continues to rise, communities are rethinking how we access the goods we need in everyday life. This webinar explores how the sharing economy – a model where access replaces ownership – is transforming the way we consume, spend money, and connect with our communities. From lending platforms to libraries, sharing solutions are making essential items more accessible, often at little or no cost. These models not only reduce financial strain for individuals and families but also contribute to a more sustainable, circular economy by maximizing the use of existing resources. In a recent global survey, over 92% of CIO, CTO and data centre leaders agreed that extending the lifecycle of equipment is important to mitigate capital-intensive refresh cycles. Yet only 15.5% of those respondents are integrating this into procurement, by considering lifecycle extension a top purchasing factor for equipment and infrastructure.
In this webinar, explore how leading organizations are extending the useful life of computers, CPUs, and data-centre infrastructure in order to reduce the frequency and cost of refresh cycles. Participants will learn a range of practical approaches to lifetime extension, and how these strategies are improving resilience and value of existing IT infrastructure. A case study will quantify the cost savings, environmental benefits and operational strategies for building lifetime extension into procurement requirements.
